- Your timestamp inputs stay in your browser. Conversion happens client-side. We never see what you paste in.
- We use Google Analytics to count page views and understand traffic sources.
- We display ads (via Ezoic, once approved). Ads may set cookies.

What we collect
Information you give us directly
If you email us via the contact page, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond and do not add you to any mailing list.
Information collected automatically
When you visit epochtime.tools, certain information is collected automatically by third-party services:
- Google Analytics records the pages you visit, your approximate location (city level, derived from IP), your device type, browser, and how you arrived at the site. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
- Ezoic and its advertising partners (once enabled) may set cookies for ad personalization, frequency capping, and measurement. Ezoic's privacy: ezoic.com/privacy-policy
- Your hosting provider's server logs include your IP address and the resource you requested. These logs are retained per the host's policy.
What we do NOT collect
- The timestamps or dates you convert. All conversion happens in your browser.
- The values you enter in the batch converter.
- Files you might upload — there are no upload features.
- Account information — there are no accounts.
Local storage
We may use your browser's localStorage to remember preferences such as your selected timezone or theme. This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Cookies
This site uses cookies in the following categories:
- Strictly necessary: none. The tool works without cookies.
- Analytics: Google Analytics sets cookies (typically
_ga, _gid) to distinguish unique visitors.
- Advertising: Once ads are enabled, Ezoic and its partners set cookies for ad personalization. For visitors in the EU and UK, these are only set after explicit consent via the cookie banner.
